M8 and M12 circular connectors came to market in the late 1980’s and remain a positive disruption in industries such as automotive, industrial automation, agriculture, and food processing. These connectors provide technology that allow ease of application, low set-up/tear-down time, improved reliability, and far less MRO expense. Three decades into their life cycle, they continue to evolve, replacing previous designs that required labor-intense hardwiring and connectors that did not meet/exceed the IP67/68 rating.
