Filter Line Wire and Cable (M85485 / SAE AS85485)
Two Ordering Options
SEA stocks the entire line of filterline products to the SAE AS85485 specification from both Judd Wire and TE Connectivity. These products are also referred to as 55FB products when using TE Connectivity. Fliterline is a radio frequency absorptive wire composed of tiny particles of conductive material incorporated into the second layer of a 3-layer hookup wire. These conductive particles intercept and block out typically low-frequency electrical interference (EMI). These wires and cables are widely used in the helicopter markets where natural shielding from the airframe structure is not possible.
